Privacy Policy — Wake Mission

Wake Mission ("the App", "we", "us") is an alarm-clock app that makes you complete missions (math, memory, shake, photo, etc.) to dismiss the alarm. This Privacy Policy explains what information is involved when you use the App.

We do not operate our own servers and the App does not require an account or login. Your alarms and settings are stored only on your device.

1. Information we collect

We (the developer) do not collect or receive any personal information from you. The App has no backend, no sign-in, and does not transmit your alarms, settings, or photos to us.

Data created while you use the App is stored locally on your device only:

• Alarm times, repeat days, selected missions, alarm sound and volume
• App preferences (language, theme, coins, in-app settings)
• A custom ringtone file you pick, copied into the App's private storage

You can erase all of this at any time by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.

2. Camera and photos

If you choose a photo mission, the App uses your camera to take a picture so it can check that you found the requested object. This recognition runs entirely on your device (on-device machine-learning model). Photos are used only to verify the mission and are not uploaded, shared, or sent to us or any third party.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The App shows ads in the practice/menu area using Google AdMob. AdMob is provided by Google and may collect and process information to serve and measure ads, including:

• Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID), device identifiers
• Device information (model, OS version, language, coarse location derived from IP)
• IP address and ad interaction data

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Where required, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to ask for your consent before serving personalized ads, in line with GDPR. You can change or withdraw your choice later from the App.

Users in the United States

Depending on your state, you may have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. Where a consent/opt-out form is presented, your choice is applied to ad personalization.

4. Permissions and why they are used

• Alarms & reminders / exact alarm, full-screen intent: to ring the alarm at the exact time and show the full-screen mission, even when the screen is locked.
• Notifications: to show the alarm and reminders.
• Camera: photo mission only (on-device, not uploaded).
• Vibrate, wake lock, run at startup (boot): to reliably trigger and keep the alarm running and to restore scheduled alarms after a reboot.
• Foreground service / media playback: to keep playing the alarm sound.
• Display over other apps / ignore battery optimizations: to make sure the alarm mission appears over other apps and is not killed by the system.

Permissions are used only for the features above and are not used to collect personal data.

5. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Data retention and security

Because we have no servers, we do not store your data. All app data lives on your device and is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall it. Information processed by Google for ads is handled under Google's policies.

7. Your rights

Depending on your region (e.g., GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in the US), you may have rights to access, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, and to opt out of personalized ads. Because the developer holds no personal data, such requests primarily concern Google's ad data — see Google's policies above. You may also contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, within the App or store listing.
