"Mistakes Welcome" (the "app") works without any account or sign-up. Your diary and all content you write are stored only on your device. The developer does not operate any server that collects or stores personal data.
The developer collects and stores no personal data. However, when you use the features below, the listed data is sent to external services for processing.

Diary entries, feedback results, expression notes, chat history, AI memory and settings are stored only in the app's local storage. They are removed when you uninstall the app. Use in-app "Export data" for backups. Android auto-backup is disabled.
If you register your own Gemini API key in Settings, it is kept in the device's secure storage and used only to call Google's API.
The recipients above (Google, Pexels, Unsplash) may process data outside your country. Their own privacy policies apply.
This app is not directed to children.
All data lives on your device — deleting it in the app or uninstalling the app removes it immediately. AI chat memory can be deleted individually or entirely in Settings > AI Memory.
Changes to this policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
